..using drone swarms
One can build a realtime 2much2process 3D world from another place in the world or from another angle in one's own world, with the use of a swarm of drones with cameras and depth sensors, maybe other sensors.
Magic Leap promises to bring something new in the area of AR and VR by covering vision with content, interactive or not, and they have patented the use of certain censors and more relative to this new technology.
The idea to take vision further would be to have a swarm of drones one can cooperate on the data from, and one could think of a situation where a massive amount of swarms and smaller drones can record realtime and construct very new ways of looking around the world, also for people that do not travel much or would like to look at other areas in the world, or even themselves in 3rd person etc.
So, interactive video/mapping of data by swarms could form a new network of outputs/broadcasts and construct experiences for many people around the world, both to learn "first hand" how things are in other regions of the world, and to experience from actual vision of an area, which would have a presence that media and the news circus can't compete with regarding relevance and accuracy.
Also: Nano drone swarm (see article here).
I think we could do drones better, with microjets or some more silent mechanism of travel, some other energy source to drive them than noisy propelled drive. Will look for more references TBC!

"They found that TrueNorth cut energy use by 176,000-fold compared to a traditional processor and by a factor of over 700 compared to specialized hardware designed to host neural networks."
